Throughout my career, I have led multi-million-dollar operations, built teams, and written grant proposals that have secured over $1.5 million in funding for various organizations. From the outside, it looked like I had everything — the strategy, the experience, and the leadership track record.
But inside, I knew there was more I was meant to do. I wanted to build my own business, make a real impact, and eventually make my own millions. The problem wasn’t a lack of knowledge — it was the fear, doubt, and insecurities I hadn’t yet healed.

The Turning Point
"I was called to heal people first."
I originally started out writing a book to help new entrepreneurs launch their business online, and navigate and set up their online business. The book, entitled, The Business Dreamer’s Blueprint: Everything You Need to Know to Build an Online Business, was almost finished when, in the middle of writing it, God spoke to my spirit, saying I was being called to heal people first.
At first, I didn’t understand it. I will admit, at first, I told God that that would have to wait until I was done with the first book that I was almost done completing. Imagine telling God what you are going to do. The journey to being redirected to write a book to heal people was not easy. But that moment changed everything.
Because what was meant to start as a book teaching beginner entrepreneurs how to build their online business became a daily devotional. Writing it became part of my own healing journey. It helped me confront old wounds, false perceptions, and my strength to overcome the storms of life as my own perspective on life was shared through storytelling in each daily devotional. My healing allowed me to step fully into my calling.

Published as a daily devotional, this book grew out of a personal revelation from God. God showed me that before we can fully build, we must first heal from the broken places of our past and from things that hold us back. As I wrote this daily devotional, I myself went through healing pains.
But I will say that through it all, I learned so much about myself, my strength, and how much God wanted me to be whole as I launched my very own business. Most importantly, He wanted me to trust Him. Journey To A New You In 30 Days showcases deeply heartfelt personal stories of my own trials, tribulations, and wins from childhood into adulthood — each day carrying words of encouragement to inspire and self-empower people to believe in themselves, their gifts and talents, and to know who they are in God.
